The Center for Effective Nonprofits provides the following services:
- E-newsletter - a free bi-weekly update on news in the nonprofit world. Visit our website to register.
- West Central Illinois Philanthropy Center – located at John wood community College’s Learning Center is open to the public at no charge during regular library hours. The Philanthropy Center consists of on line databases and print information. Visit the library’ webpage at www.jwcc.edu
- Workshops - the Center sponsors half and full day sessions on a variety of topics at locations around our service area. Visit our website for a complete listing.
- Brown bag lunch/networking series – These sessions provide networking opportunities and information for agency staff to learn more about topics of interest to nonprofit staff. The current session focus on fundraising activities
- Agency technical assistance – Center staff and consultants provide one on one technical support for agencies.
- Consultant referrals – A list of available consultants is available upon request.
- Strategic planning facilitation – Center staff is available to provide facilitation to nonprofit Board of Directors to assist in the development of agency strategic plans. Contact the Center for more information.
- Facilitation of Mission statement sessions – this service assists agencies in the development of a mission statement that truly reflects each agencies vision.
